This Is What Will Happen If The Earth Loses Oxygen For 5 Seconds

Oxygen may not be the main constituent of the Earth's atmosphere, but its role in the survival of many forms of life elevates its significance. No one can live without sufficient quantity of food, water and oxygen. Of the three, oxygen is by far the most important and urgently needed. Have you ever imagined what if oxygen from the Earth was lost for 5 seconds? To find out more read below..

What If It Was Possible To See WiFi?

Wifi is an energy field usually transmitted in form of waves. These waves have a definite distance between them, a height and travel at a given speed. Wifi has a distinctive transmission band that makes it hard for other signals to interrupt it. This is because the distance between wifi waves is shorter than that of radio waves and longer than that of microwaves. This is an image showing idealized wifi data being transmitted over a band divided into several different sub channels, represented by yellow, red, green and other colors.
Wifi pulses are represented by the multicolored spheres radiating from the source which is near the image’s right side. Wifi transmitters are essentially an antenna that is equipped with transmission protocol that usually splits the frequency band into numerous segments, also known as channels. Data is transmitted over each channel and can be sent and received in great quantities at a faster rate. The colors orange, yellow, red and others are used to show invisible wifi channels that contribute to the making of the overall wifi signal. Fields of Wifi are usually ellipsoidal or spherical and can extend to about 20- 30 meters.
The wifi wave’s travel as rapid, data encoded waves or pulses through space. If we freeze the pulses, they would be about 6 inches apart. Wifi routers are antennas that send data at the same time over multiple frequencies. The data sent from these frequencies then swirls around in space. A common tag system that can be understood by wireless devices can be used to translate this.
The antenna or routers are usually attached to buildings, lamp posts, trees and other structures. Outdoor routers are able to transmit signals to a distance of about 300 feet or sometimes more, from their location. Some objects like trees obstruct signals and multiple wifi routers have to be placed at different positions to augment this.
A circular data field is created around Wifi routers that are affixed to lamp posts, buildings and other objects. These antennas usually have an omnidirectional signal (the circular bands) that extends in all directions equally. Wifi broadcasts normally at a frequency that is between microwaves and radio waves, which means the pulses or waves, are approximately six inches apart (as shown by circular, colored bands).

Woman Whose Cells Continues To Live Even 60 Years After Her Death And Grow Even Till Today

Henrietta Lacks was born in the August of 1920, and met an unfortunate end at the ripe age of 31, October 4th, 1951. While Henrietta’s life ended so soon, to the surprise of her family, she would live on in labs all around the world.

Henrietta was an unfortunate victim of cervical cancer, which was discovered after some concerns as to the “knot” in her pelvic region. Henrietta had 2 samples of tissue removed from her cervix - one healthy and one cancerous - reportedly without her consent. Henrietta would later pass from uremic poisoning, but this is only the beginning of her journey.
During Henrietta’s time cancer research was still in it’s more primitive form, a major contributor being Doctor George Gey. Doctor Gey worked at John Hopkins in the Tissue Culture Laboratory, where he attempted to produce human cells for decades, all which died within a couple of days. Dr. Gey worked with Henrietta’s cells and soon found that a certain type of cell, had a very strange property.

The HeLa cells were unlike the other cells in that after it divided, it kept dividing. While many cells could divide a number of times, the DNA would eventually become unstable, causing them to die out. But not HeLa cells. In the correct conditions, HeLa cells can form an immortal cell line, allowing them to be produced an infinite number of times.

With haste, Doctor Gey published his findings and soon after received many requests from scientists all around the globe for samples, which Gey generously provided, free of charge. With a myriad of scientific teams all extensively experimenting with HeLa cells, the result has been over 60,000 publications and over 11,000 related patents, changing the field of medicine time and time again.

While well known all over the scientific community, HeLa cells had quite recently become known to the Lacks family, descendants of Henrietta, via a phone call asking for a blood sample of one of the family members. The main dispute of the lacks family was the availability of their genome to people all over the world, as it was published online for all to see. In the past months the Lacks family and the National Institute of Health have finally come to an agreement to protect the privacy of the HeLa genome, as to not divulge any information about the Lacks family. The agreement states that any scientist who wishes to work with HeLa cells must first apply, then provide follow up reports on the progress they have made in their experimentation; The Lacks family will receive no money for the use of HeLa cells but will be recognized in all future publications involving the HeLa line of cells.

Henrietta was just a poor woman from Virginia, but is a prime example of how one person, whether they know it or not, can change the world.

This Video Of A Match Burning In Slow Motion Is A Must Watch

UltraSlo Studios created this video by slowing down the burning action to 4,000 frames per second. The company, founded by Alan Teitel a cinematographer, slows down footage of happenings so that viewers get to appreciate the world around them. According to their website, they specialize in ‘creating unique images in slow motion and 3d.’
According to the YouTube description; they shot the slow motion sequence of a burning match using a Phantom Miro 4 camera @ 4000 FPS.

‘As you can see this is an extremely tight shot. There was over 2000 watts of light within 4 inches (10 CM) of the match with mirrors and reflectors too.’
What you see happen in an instant when you light a match with a torch takes a while on the screen. The match looks like a “dying alien world” but it’s in fact a chemical reaction.

"The heat generated from the phosphorus is enough to break down potassium chlorate, and in the process, it releases oxygen. This oxygen combines with sulfur, allowing the flame to thrive long enough for us to light a candle or barbecue."

Who thought watching a hot match could be this awesome?

Acts Of Kindness On This Russian Video Will Surely Make You Cry

The video dubbed “Russian video that made the whole world cry” is currently a sensation on YouTube. It shows Russian motorists going out of their way to help perfect strangers on the highway. They stop their trucks and cars to help people cross the street and get animals off the road.
It’s good to know that there are still people out there who are kind to others and who will go out of their way to help if they can. These people were not obligated to help in any way; they just did it out of a kind heart. The video, made by Alextard, shows that there is still hope in the world and taking a minute to help someone out could make a huge impact on their lives.

This video shows a different side of Russia. It’s a confirmation that kindness without expecting anything in return is powerful. It would be a better world, if we did this more often.

Billionaire Doubles His Offer Of £40 million To Any Man Who ‘Turns’ His Lesbian Daughter Straight After 20,000 Failed Attempts.

Hong Kong billionaire, Cecil Chao, had offered as dowry £40 million to any man bold enough to change the homosexuality of his daughter. 20, 000 suitors after, Gigi the daughter, was not yet convinced and the billionaire doubled the offer to HK$1 billion.
Cecil Chao has doubled the reward for any man who manages to convince his lesbian daughter Gigi to marry him, to HK$1billion (£80million)
He believes his daughter is ‘still single’ though married for two years now to Sean Eav, her long term partner. In an interview with a Malaysian newspaper, he said that all he wanted was his daughter to have a “good marriage and children” and that he was not trying to interfere with her private life.
Gigi Chao, right, and her partner Sean Eav, have been together for nine years and married in Paris in 2012
“I'm not saying that she's not okay to be gay,” the billionaire told ABC News 20/20 in October 2012. “I mean it's her own choice and her own tendency, but she should make sure she knows what she wants. Maybe what she wants today is different [than] what she wants in the future.”

Ms Chao however said that, though her father’s quest had left her wife distraught, she chose to ignore it. She even offered to conform to his terms, provided the suitor donated a large chunk of the cash to charity, and didn’t mind her marriage status.
I don’t think my dad’s offering of any amount of money would be able to attract a man I would find attractive,” she told South China Morning Post. “Alternatively, I would be happy to befriend any man willing to donate huge amounts of money to my charity, Faith in Love, provided they don't mind that I already have a wife. Third and lastly, thank you Daddy, I love you too."

Ms Chao and Sean got married in Paris at a church ceremony in early 2012. She told a ‘surprised and unpleasantly shocked’ father about the wedding and he advised her not to go public about it. After the tabloids in Hong Kong printed about their union, the father promised any potential male that would walk his daughter down the aisle, the million HKD fortune.
Offers from war veterans, Ethiopia, South America, Istanbul, Portugal and from all parts of the world poured in after Cecil Chao made the offer. One of the American suitors wrote: "I’m interested in the offer. I am a male person, who also happens to be gay."

An executive director at the property development company owned by her father, Ms Chao is also the founder of Faith in Love Foundation, an anti-poverty charity and a part time pilot. She says she knows her father’s actions are out of concern and love.

“I understand that he loves me, it’s just he’s from another time and it’s difficult for him to understand the plight of the LGBT. At the office it’s business as usual. At family gatherings we hug and dance. And we just agree to disagree on what marriage is and family is.”

It Might Sound Creepy But A Swiss Company Makes Things Out Of Dead Bodies. But The Final Product Will Leave You Fascinated

A Swiss company, Algordanza, changes cremated human remains into diamonds by putting the ashes under high pressure and heat- conditions the same as those within the earth. The C.E.O and founder of this company, Rinaldo Willy, put the idea into action a decade ago and his customer base has since grown to 24 countries.

Every year, the company gets remains of approximately 900 people. 3 months later, they’ve been turned into diamonds that can either be turned into jewelry or kept in a box.
Most of the diamonds come out blue. This could be due to small amounts of boron found in the human body, an element that may be involved in the formation of bones. Occasionally, a diamond turns out yellow, white or close to black, a phenomenon Willy can’t explain. He however says that, “every diamond from each person is slightly different. It's always a unique diamond."

A huge percentage of orders received at Algordanza, come from relatives who have recently been deceased. Others are from people who make arrangements for their remains to be turned into diamonds once they die. 25 percent of the company’s customers according to Willy come from Japan.
Their charges range from $5,000 to $22,000 for the process, which is equivalent to the cost of some funerals. The machinery and process used is also almost similar to the one in a synthetic lab that uses carbon materials to make diamonds.

Basically, the ashes are turned into carbon and later slid into a machine that applies intense pressure and heat for weeks. If you compare this to the natural process of making diamonds, this is at least faster by seven hundred million years.
"The more time you give this process, the bigger the rough diamond starts to grow," Willy says. The new diamonds are ground and cut after cool off to required shape. Sometimes, they are engraved with laser.

A single diamond can be made from a pound of ashes and according to Willy the company can produce up to nine stones from one person’s ashes. People will then have a jeweler turn the diamonds into pendants or rings.

"I don't know why, but if the diamond is blue, and the deceased also had blue eyes, I hear almost every time that the diamond had the same color as the eyes of the deceased," says Willy. The families are happy when the diamonds are delivered. They feel like their loved one has returned home in a sparkling form.

Another American company by the name LifeGem does the same and several U.S. patents are available for similar procedures.

Watching A Can Of Coca Cola Get Destroyed By Lava Is Totally Amazing!

This is definitely something you don’t come across every day. Lavapix uploaded a video on You Tube to show us how a can of coca cola gets consumed by a volcano. Shot with a Nikon D800 and a GoPro camera, the video is so mesmerizing that it’s hard to look away from the oozy, slow, melt down.
The first can, as explained by the about section, has a tiny hole punched on the top to prevent a random explosion. It gets heated up and squirts the coke. The second can though sealed, falls over immediately it gets in contact with the lava. It gets punctured due to the heat and leaks.

The video was a scientific test on how different objects react to lava hitting them at 2000 degrees. They took safety precautions when shooting the video and only the GoPro was in harm’s way.

By the end of this outing most of my camera gear was just a bit sticky’ Bryan, the video creator said.

Please avoid trying this at home but if you do, make sure you share it just to bring us some seconds of joy.

A Man Records Crickets Chirping. He Slows Down The Track And Finds It To Be Similar To Humans Singing

Native Americans and ancient Chinese culture believe that crickets are a symbol of luck. They are wise and bear good fortune. Jim Wilson, a composer, recorded crickets chirping from his backyard and for some reason decided to slow down the recording. The result was an amazing track that sounds like a choir of humans singing. The most amazing part is that the crickets are in perfect harmony!

I discovered that when I slowed down this recording to various levels, this simple familiar sound began to morph into something very mystic and complex……..almost human,’ Jim Wilson.
There are two versions of the track: an original version with the crickets chirping at normal speed and a slowed down version that is said to match the average lifespan length of a human being. The sounds are explained in the liner notes of one version of the track:
Though it may sound like a synthesizer or a chorus singing; it’s the crickets themselves slowed way down, creating the effect of a choir of human voices. The sound created is a simple diatonic 7-note scale chord progression and melody with a multi-layered structure.”

The chirping sound from crickets is made when they rub their wings together. One wing has a smooth side while the other has a jagged side, creating the distinctive tone. The males, according to cricket-breeding.com, use the chirps to attract females. They also chirp during fights with each other.

The recordings have become a viral sensation even though made in 1992. Most people however, doubt its 100 percent accuracy. The composer may have done some additional arrangement that resulted in the beautiful harmony.

Jim Wilson included the original recording on the track “Ballad of the Twisted Hair”, on the album Medicine Songs. In 1994, the cricket track got featured on the soundtrack of “The Native Americans”, a TBS documentary miniseries as the track “Twisted Hair”. Opera Singer, Bonnie Jo Hunt, was also featured on the track singing an additional melody over it. This is what Ms. Hunt had to say about the recording in a 2004 interview:
“Jim Wilson recorded crickets in his back yard, and he brought it into the studio and went ahead and lowered the pitch and lowered the pitch and lowered the pitch. And they sound exactly like a well-trained church choir to me. And not only that, but it sounded to me like they were singing in the eight-tone scale. And so what–they started low, and then there was something like I would call, in musical terms, an interlude; and then another chorus part; and then an interval and another chorus. They kept going higher and higher.”

God’s Cricket Chorus” is also an extended version of the track that does not have Ms. Hunt’s vocals or the narrative.

Skeleton Of 'Alien Looking' Tiny Creature with Nine Ribs Which Was Discovered Was Actually A Human, Reveal Scientists

Everyone at some point in their lives has probably looked up at a starry sky and wondered how much of the truth was actually out there. How far does life stretch outside of the blue planet? Were The X Files actually on to something? There’s a little belief in all of us. Ten years ago in Chile’s Atacama Desert the remains of a six inch humanoid figure were discovered and only added fuel to the flames of belief, however briefly. Now, ten years of scientific advancement later the remains have been tested by scientists at Stanford and, much to science fiction’s disappointment, the results have returned and confirmed that the figure is, indeed, human.
Having been discovered in Chile’s Atacama Desert the figure was dubbed the nickname ‘Ata’ and suppositions regarding what could have produced such a figure have ranged from an aborted fetus, a monkey, and, naturally, a dead alien. Interestingly enough, the source that brought to light Ata’s human origins was a science documentary titled Sirius which for a while had UFO enthusiasts ready to break bottles in celebration of extraterrestrial life, until the final verdict arrived. Authorities on such matters do agree that the specimen does possess all of the UFO stereotypes to include a large oval shaped head with an unproportionately smaller body. Bone marrow obtained from the specimen’s ribs was taken to Stanford University where it was studied for six months before a conclusion was reached. The conclusion was that it was a curious mutation of a male infant who, despite the mutation, lived to be between the ages of six and eight. The fact that its final age has been determined has also brought up the question of how big it could have been at birth considering its final size.
A Chilean newspaper has reported that the remains were discovered on Oct. 19, 2003 by a man by the name of Oscar Munoz who was doing excavation in search of objects of historical value in La Noria, a relatively uninhabited town in the Atacama Desert. While doing his work near an abandoned church Munoz discovered a white cloth containing what the newspaper has reported as ‘a strange skeleton no bigger than 15cm [the size of a pen]’. Aside from the figure’s obvious distinctions of size, color, and shape what added to its mystery was the fact that it possessed nine ribs, in contrast to a human’s 12.

The documentary of Sirius will not only contain an in-depth disclosure of the Ata humanoid dissection and autopsy, but it was also discuss extraterrestrial visitation, secret ET files, the advanced technologies that the beings would use as a means to reach our planet.
